Haxall Building
The Elizabeth and Bolling Haxall Library and Exhibition Building is the nerve center of the Museum. The second and third floors house the museum's administrative offices, the Lou Smith Library, the Marion Clayton Link Archives, the Homer L. Dodge Education Center and the Tony and Jim Lewis Board Room, as well as storage for smaller artifacts. The main floor is home to the Museum Store, the Robert O. Cox theatre, the David L. Coffin Jr. Gallery, The Passages Gallery, the Fred and Virginia Gordon Gallery and the Homer L. Dodge Gallery.

"Currents: The River Life of Homer Dodge" looks at the enduring fascination that rivers and whitewater held for this noted physicist, educator and canoeist.
