Lines Taking

Students will spend two evenings taking the lines off of a Rushton St. Lawrence Skiff in the Museum collection. This class will be beneficial for those that want to understand boat measurements more or document their own family vessel. We will be using the Steever style of lines taking. Andrew Steever was well known in the St. Lawrence area for preserving the lines of skiffs. Note: The measurements taken in this class will be used in the lofting class.
